PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY: Mark A. Gooch, Chairman, President and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Danville Market Advistory Board Members to Community Trust Bank, Inc., Dr. Aaron Rowland and Nicholas Spoonmore.
Dr. Rowland is a graduate of Danville High School and Centre College in Danville, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He also received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in Auburn, Alabama. Dr. Rowland and his wife Dr. Amanda Rowland are the owners and veterinarians of Heartland Veterinary Hospital in Danville. He is currently a board member for the Boyle County Health Department and The Hudson-Ellis Foundation. Aaron, Amanda, and their two daughters, Alex and Aubrey, currently reside in Danville, Kentucky. They enjoy traveling in their RV, time at the beach, trying new foods, and outdoor sports.
Mr. Spoonmore earned his Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Health Administration from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. He currently serves as the System Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for Ephraim McDowell Health in Danville, Kentucky. Mr. Spoonmore has nearly 15 years of experience in executive level healthcare. He and his wife Dana currently reside in Danville, Kentucky with their son Cameron.
