Brent grew up in rural Ohio, the third generation on the family farm. His strong work ethic was learned early in life with his 4H projects of market hogs and then at age 14 he switched to market steers. When his animals were sold at the county fair, he would invest part of the money, which led to his passion of the stock market. Brent attended the University of Cincinnati where he majored in Business Economics. In his senior year, he worked for a financial advisor continuing after graduating from college.
While working in the financial services field, Brent earned his certified financial planner designation. Being raised by a mother who was a home economics teacher, he often tells his clients he feels like he is a teacher of financial products and wants them to learn what is available to them. Brent joined Community Trust Financial Services in 2019. He is excited to work for an employer that values their customers like family.
Brent resides in Pulaski County where he feels the community and values are like those where he was raised in Hardin County, Ohio. His love for the water is why he was determined to find a home that offers a view of Lake Cumberland where he can relax and entertain friends on the weekends and overlook the lake. His passion outside of work is yard work and cooking.
