Ty’s ten years of investment experience in the financial industry has all been with banks, making him a valuable part of the Community Trust Financial Services team.
After graduating from Ohio Northern University in 2003, Ty entered the field of financial consulting with Chase Bank in their personal banking department. In 2006, to be closer to family, he returned to the Ashland area, joining National City as a Licensed Financial Consultant. He played an integral role helping clients in the community pursue their financial goals until the bank was sold to a larger institution. He used that as a springboard to look for an opportunity with a community bank where servicing the customer and building deeper relationships were valued. In 2010 he found that opportunity at Community Trust Bank and joined Community Trust Financial Services.
As a member of the Community Trust Financial Services team for the last three years, Ty focuses on helping people work toward their financial goals in many different areas, such as saving for retirement, generating more income in retirement, college savings, evaluating alternatives to bank deposits, and legacy planning.
When he is not working with his clients, Ty’s main focus is his eight year old daughter. She is very active in many sports, and Ty loves coaching her. He is also very active in his church, as well as in the local Knights of Columbus chapter.
