COMMUNITY TRUST BANK ANNOUNCES PAOLA G. ROE VERSAILLES MARKET PRESIDENT

PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY: Mark A. Gooch, Chairman, President and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., is pleased to announce that Paola G. Roe has been named the Versailles Market President of Community Trust Bank, Inc.

Ms. Roe’s responsibilities include providing consumer, residential, and commercial lending options to new and existing clients, as well as offering a variety of financial solutions to individuals and businesses including the acceptance of time and demand deposits, providing cash management services to corporate and individual customers; issuing letters of credit; renting safe deposit boxes, and providing electronic banking and funds transfer services.  The Versailles Market is composed of five offices located in the Kentucky counties of Franklin, Scott and Woodford.  Her office is located in the Versailles Main Office at 470 Lexington Road in Versailles, Kentucky.

Ms. Roe has called Frankfort home for the past nine years. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she spent 14 years living in Chile and graduated from high school at Collegio Bautista in Temuco, Chile.  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky and an MBA from Marylhust University in Marylhurst, Oregon. 

Ms. Roe has worked in the finance industry for more than 15 years and has been with Community Trust Bank since 2021 where she has worked as both a residential lender and a branch manager.  She is a graduate of the Stonier Banking School and the Kentucky Banking Association’s General Banking School.

Ms. Roe is well-connected in the three counties she will be serving by participating in several non-profit boards, civic organizations, and volunteering.  Ms. Roe is a member of the Franklin Community Fund – Bluegrass Community Fund, a Yes Art board member and incoming chairman, a member of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – KY/WV Chapter, a member of the Marshall Center of Georgetown College and a member of the Frankfort and Woodford Chamber of Commerce.  She is a graduate of Frankfort Leadership, Woodford Leadership and Leadership Central Kentucky and is a Kentucky Ambassador and Kentucky Colonel.  She is a proud mother of two children, Karolina and Nacho.  Ms. Roe has been happily married to her husband, Kelly, a native of Woodford County.  She and her family reside in Frankfort, Kentucky.
