COMMUNITY TRUST BANK ANNOUNCES JODY THOMPSON PROMOTED TO  REGIONAL SENIOR LENDER

PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY: Mark A. Gooch, Chairman, President and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., is pleased to announce that Senior Vice President Jody Thompson has been promoted to the position of Regional Senior Lender with Community Trust Bank, Inc.

Mr. Thompson’s responsibilities include providing consumer, residential, and commercial lending options to new and existing clients, as well as offering a variety of financial solutions to individuals and businesses including the acceptance of time and demand deposits, providing cash management services to corporate and individual customers; issuing letters of credit and managing multiple customer relationships.  His office is located at the Pikeville Main Office at 346 North Mayo Trail in Pikeville, Kentucky.

Mr. Thompson has worked for Community Trust Bank since 1995.  He is a graduate of Feds Creek High School in Feds Creek, Kentucky and the University of Pikeville in Pikeville, Kentucky where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management / Accounting.  Mr. Thompson is the interim pastor of Meta Baptist Church in Meta, Kentucky.  He resides in Raccoon, Kentucky.
