COMMUNITY TRUST BANK ANNOUNCES NICOLE NEWSOME PROMOTED TO WINCHESTER MARKET PRESIDENT

PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY: Mark A. Gooch, Chairman, President and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., is pleased to announce that Nicole Newsome has been promoted to the position of Winchester Market President of Community Trust Bank, Inc.

Ms. Newsome’s responsibilities include providing consumer, residential, and commercial lending options to new and existing clients, as well as offering a variety of financial solutions to individuals and businesses including the acceptance of time and demand deposits, providing cash management services to corporate and individual customers; issuing letters of credit; renting safe deposit boxes, and providing electronic banking and funds transfer services.  Her office is located at 120 South Main Street in downtown Winchester, Kentucky.

Ms. Newsome has worked for Community Trust Bank for 17 years, most recently as a Commercial Loan Officer.  She graduated from Betsy Layne High School in Betsy Layne, Kentucky.  She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration degree from Morehead State University.

Ms. Newsome is a graduate of the Kentucky Bankers Association (KBA) General Banking School and Commercial Banking School.  She is a 2022 graduate of Winchester Leadership and a 2025 graduate of Central Kentucky Leadership. Nicole and her family reside in Winchester, Kentucky.
