Using Touch/Face ID to Access Account Information

To log in with Touch/Face ID, follow these steps:

  1. Locate the Community Trust Bank mobile banking application on your device's home screen.
  2. The Touch/Face ID screen appears asking you to scan your fingerprint or facial pattern. Simply place a registered finger on the device's home button or your face in front of the camera to scan it and continue.

Note: While this screen is visible, you cannot hide the application. This screen is a part of the device's operating system, not the application. The screen would need to be cleared by scanning the finger, selecting the Enter Password link, or by selecting the Cancel link before the application can be hidden.

  3. You are then presented with your Accounts screen. All account balances and transactions will be available to you.

Note: Registered Touch ID fingerprints or Face ID facial patterns cannot be changed via the Mobile Banking application. You would need to make any changes, such as adding or removing fingerprints or your facial pattern from within the settings, on the device itself.
