Business, community leaders form new initiative to promote Lexington, fund community projects

LEXINGTON, KY – A group of 16 business and community leaders today announced the formation of a new initiative called Together Lexington to energize the community by creating a positive marketing campaign and funding projects that will improve quality of life.
“There are so many reasons Lexingtonians are proud to call our community home,” Bakhaus said. “We want to celebrate that spirit, spread the enthusiasm and invest in our local assets.”

SBA Honors Community Trust Bank as Kentucky's Top SBA Lender, 2014 - 2015

PIKEVILLE, KY. – Community Trust Bank, Inc. was recently honored with the "Gold Lender Award" by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA) as Kentucky's top community bank SBA 7a lender in 2014 – 2015. This is the seventh consecutive year that Community Trust has received this award from the SBA.

Pike County Bowl Turns 30

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) -- This week is the start of the high school football season in the state of Kentucky, and one of the oldest bowls in the state...."The best part the number of kids that you are able to help,” Market President Brett Keene said.
....The bowl has raised about $719,00 in its history.
